Gianluca Busio was the only American to see action in Serie A over the weekend as Venezia left looking for their first points of the season after a demoralizing loss to Frosinone.

A goal late in the game saw Venezia go to a three-game losing streak in their defeat to Frosinone at Stadio Benito Stirpe.
Gianluca Busio started and went the distance for the Winged Lions as he completed 88 percent passing, won six duels, made four recoveries, and took two shots. He also received a yellow card for unsportsmanlike behavior.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 21st minute and doubled their lead 18 minutes later.
Venezia fought their way back in the second half when they cut the deficit in the 66th minute. Busio passed the ball to John Yeboah to bury his left-footed shot into the back of the net. They leveled the score eight minutes later, with the captain supplying a pass to Antoine Hainaut, who then centered the ball for Richie Sagrado to slide the ball into the goal.
However, Frosinone had the last word of the game, as they grabbed the game-winner in the 83rd minute.
Venezia remains pointless as it sits in 18th place in the standings.

Yunus Musah started and played the full 90 minutes, while Christian Pulisic was on the bench for AC Milan, and Weston McKennie sat out another game for Juventus due to a muscle injury as both sides settled for a 1-1 tie.
