Legia Warsaw 1-1 Slask Wroclaw

The capital team remains on top of the standings after a dramatic goal deep into stoppage time earned them a point against Slask Wroclaw at Stadion Wojska Polskiego in Friday’s match.

Robert Deziel Jr. started for Legia and played 85 minutes, completing 56 passes and having 11 defensive contributions.

The hosts dug themselves into a hole past the half-hour mark when the referee pointed to the spot for a penalty. A further review from the video assistant referee confirmed it, and Piotr Samiec-Talar converted the spot kick afterwards.

Legia was on the attack in the second half, but was left frustrated with putting any attempt in the back of the net.

Their fortune came in the fourth minute of stoppage time when Rafal Adamski headed the ball in to level the score.

Next, the start of the Polish Cup as Legia faces Motor Lublin on Tuesday.
