Haji Wright and Coventry City sealed their promotion to the English Premier League as the team fought their way to a tie with Blackburn Rovers.

Coventry City only needed a point to get their way back to promotion to the English top flight in 25 years, and they got it as they scored a late goal to share the spoils with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
Haji Wright came off the bench to play 28 minutes for the Sky Blues, putting a shot on target.
The hosts broke the scorelesss deadlock in the 54th minute when Coventry’s failed free kick allowed them to counter.Ryan Alebiosu’s shot from the edge of the penalty area was blocked, but the ball fell at the feet of Ryoya Morishita to a left-footed strike home.
The league leaders upped the pressure to find the tying goal, and it came in the 85th minute through Bobby Thomas as he headed in Victor Torp’s free kick into the goal.
Coventry now sits on 86 points.
Preston North End 0-2 West Bromwich Albion
It was a special day for Daryl Dike as he scored his first goal in 11 months as West Brom gave a boost to their survival hopes with win over Preston North End at Deepdale.
George Campbell started and played the full 90 for the Baggies, completing 75 percent passing, winning five duels, and making two recoveries. Dike came on to play the final 20 minutes of the contest, putting a shot on target and making two recoveries.
The visitors opened the scoring after 11 minutes when Josh Maja was able to get through a scramble of players to put his shot in the back of the net.
Dike entered the game in the 70th minute and it did not talk long for him to get his name on the scoresheet as sealed the three points for his team. Jayson Molumby dribbled the ball to the end line before cutting it back to the American forward to hammer the ball into the roof of the net.
West Brom sits in 20th place in the standings with 49 points.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Aidan Morris went the distance for Middlesbrough as they shared the points after a 2-2 tie with Ipswich Town. Boro is three points back from second place.
Charlie Kelman was an unused substitute in Charlton Athletic’s 1-1 tie with Sheffield Wednesday.
In League One, Dominic Dwyer played the final 10 minutes for Mansfield Town in their 2-2 tie with Luton Town.
