English Premier League Recap: Aaronson scores against Manchester United

Brenden Aaronson’s goal helped Leeds United to share the points with Manchester United, while Antonee Robinson got the start for Fulham in their clash with Liverpool.

Leeds United 1 – 1 Manchester United

Brenden Aaronson scored Leeds’ goal in a clash against Manchester United.

The deadlock was broken in the 62nd minute as the American was sent through to score a clever goal. The lead only lasted for three minutes as Matheus Cunha scored at the opposing end. 

Aaronson was subbed off in the 87th minute. Leeds now sits in 16th place and faces Newcastle on Wednesday.

Fulham 2 – 2 Liverpool

Antonee Robinson started and went the distance for Fulham against Liverpool in an epic 2-2 draw to start 2026 off.

Harry Wilson started the scoring in the 17th minute after a clever run, which was originally flagged for offside, but eventually given. The same was true for Florian Wirtz, who scored in the 57th minute to bring Liverpool back into the game. 

Both sides hit the crossbar, but it was Cody Gakpo who thought he scored the game winner after four minutes of extra time, but Harrison Reed scored with one of the last kicks of the game with a monstrous strike from distance.

Fulham sit in 11th place and face off against Chelsea on Wednesday.
