The USMNT starting goalkeeper Matt Turner was reinstated by Steve Cooper for Nottingham Forest, with four Americans seeing action in the Premier League this weekend. However, one player continues his unusual absence for Fulham. That, and more, below.
Fulham 5 – 0 West Ham United
Antonee Robinson started and went 72 minutes in Fulham’s thumping of West Ham United.
The result was their second massive win in a row, having won with the same scoreline in the midweek. However, both results are coupled with the absence of Tim Ream. Fulham started on the back foot, with West Ham owning the opening minutes.
However, Raul Jimenez scored in the 22nd minute with a classic forwards header. The Mexican international opened up at the back post for a snapped header. Willian got on the scoresheet in the 31st minute, receiving a ball across the box for a smashing shot back across the face of the goal.
Tosin Adarabioyo made it three in the 40th minute, sending Fulham into half time fully in charge. Harry Wilson added to West Ham’s misery in the 60th minute with a beautiful shot from the edge of the box. Vinicius added the icing on the cake in the 88th minute after a quick counter attack through Wilson for a tap in to an empty net.
Fulham, now in 10th, travel to Newcastle on Saturday.
