Vlatko Andonovski, head coach of the reigning Women’s World Cup holders, has invited 26 women to the upcoming training camp for the USWNT as well as a pair of friendlies against the Republic of Ireland.

These will be the last games for the American women before they head down under to defend their crown in Australia and New Zealand. First up will be against the 22nd-ranked FIFA team in Austin, TX on the 8th of April, followed three days later when both teams travel to St. Louis MO for a rematch.

Of the 26 called, six have 100 or more caps. Becky Sauerbrunn leads the pack with 214, followed by Alex Morgan at 204, Kelley O’Hara at 156, Crystal Dunn at 130, Lindsey Horan at 126 and Julie Ertz at 116.

Sauerbrunn, a native of St. Louis, will be honored in front of her home town for achieving 200 caps, although the landmark one came during the 2022 SheBelieves Cup. Ertz will be honored for her 100th cap in Austin. That landmark was achieved back in March 2020.
