U.S. Under-20 men’s national team head coach Mikey Varas has called up 26 players for training camp at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
The team, which was announced on Monday, is scheduled to train in Bradenton from Jan. 24-Feb. 2.
This will be the first time for the team to meet this year since playing in the four-team Revelations Cup last November in Mexico against Brazil, Colombia, and the host nation.
The roster consists of a mix of domestic players from Major League Soccer and the United Soccer League as well as European-based players. Making the trip across the Atlantic will be Anthony Ramos, Mauricio Cuevas, Patrick Bohui, Malick Sanogo, and Dante Sealy.
The camp will be used as preparation for this summer’s Concacaf U-20 Championship, which will serve as a qualifier for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics.
