US Soccer Announces Upcoming Qualifier Venues

US Soccer has announced the venues for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers taking place in the late-January international break, where the USMNT will host both El Salvador and Honduras.

The USMNT, now ranked 12th in the world, will take on El Salvador on January 27, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio at Lower.com Field. Currently, El Salvador are in seventh place in the Octagonal standings.

Afterwards, on January 30th, 2022, the team will travel to take on first-placed Canada, before flying to St. Paul, Minnesota, to host eighth-place Honduras on February 2nd, 2022 at Allianz Field.

Coach Gregg Berhalter will surely expect a minimum of six points from this fixture list to consider it a success, which would bring his team on the cusp of qualifying for the final tournament in Qatar.
