Sam Vines returned to Antwerp’s defense to help the Belgians earn a point at Fenerbahce while Cameron Carter-Vickers and Celtic finally notched their first win of the group stage in Europa League action.
Sam Vines and Mikkel Diskerud saw their teams face off with a spot in the Europa League group stage on the line, however it was the former celebrating at the end as Royal Antwerp bested Omonia on penalties.
The draw for the group stages of the UEFA Europa League took place Friday afternoon in Istanbul, Turkey and eight teams with American interests were involved.
