It was a cold, wet weekend in Belgium but the sun did shine for McKenzie and his Smurfs, as well as Zahiroleslam and his Canaries as both teams picked up three points in Game Day 27.
Overall it was far from an exciting weekend of Pro League action as far as Americans were concerned, with the highlight being the boys at Westerlo, Bryan Reynolds and Griffin Yow, fighting back to get something out of their road game.
Marlon Fossey and Standard Liege picked up an important, last-minute point on their trip to American-owned Molenbeek, while Mark McKenzie and Genk continued to slump with a narrow home loss.
It was a positive weekend in Belgium as every Yank who played earned at least a point in Pro League action.

After a three week recess from action, the 16 teams in the Belgian Pro League have been enjoying the sunshine during their winter training camps, but will return to action this weekend with Gent and Mechelen getting the new year under way on Friday night.
