CONCACAF released the preliminary 60-player rosters submitted by the 25 participating teams on Thursday, giving some clues into how US Soccer plans to divide its player pool between the two major summer competitions.
It looks like the new Belgian champions will be decided on the very last day of the play-offs after the top two teams played to a tie, while Mark McKenzie and Genk battled back to give themselves a good chance of claiming the title.
With four of the six playoff games done and dusted in both the Championship and European groups, Mark McKenzie and Genk blew the chance to put pressure on the group leaders after a Sam Vines-less Royal Antwerp were beaten by Club Brugge.
After hitting the playoffs halfway mark, the title is still wide open, though Antwerp has taken over the top spot in Pro League action.
