English Premier League Recap: Chris Richards and Palace Win

Chris Richards and Crystal Palace went back to winning ways, while Brendan Aaronson and Leeds dropped two points away from home.

Aston Villa 1 – 1 Leeds

Brendan Aaronson went 73 minutes in a strong away performance draw at Aston Villa.

The home side got the first goal through Anton Stach in the 31st minute through an unbelievable free kick. Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez expected a cross, and the Leeds man went straight for goal.

Tammy Abraham scored in the second half after coming on in the 75th minute. His goal came two minutes before full-time. After a well-worked corner, Abraham was on hand to dispatch home with a clever finish.

Three wins on the trot put Leeds into 15th place, but they take on Man City next.

Crystal Palace 1 – 0 Wolves

Chris Richards was on hand as Crystal Palace battled against a 10-man Wolves to win three home points.

Ladislav Krejci received his second yellow card in the 51st minute (three minutes after his first one) and was shown a red card. Evann Guessand scored in the 90th minute to secure the win.

Palace sits in the 13th place and plays host to Zrinjski on Thursday.

Antonee Robinson did not feature for Fulham in their 3-1 win at Sunderland.  Tyler Adams is out injured.
