Antonee Robinson was the Lone Ranger in the Premier League as Fulham scraped for three points away from home. Compatriots Matt Turner and Chris Richards were away on FA Cup Duty (champions), while Tyler Adams and Bournemouth play on Tuesday.
Brentford 2 – 3 Fulham
Antonee Robinson was the lone Yank on Premier League duty this weekend as the season in England comes towards an end.
The left back was recently inserted back into the squad and played for 89 minutes. Brentford edged the first half blows between the sides, responding twice after a Raul Jimenez opening header for the visitors. Brentford responded in the 22nd minute through Bryan Mbeumo with a clean strike from the right side of the goal.
Just five minutes later, though, the same player had his penalty kick saved after a short run-up. Thankfully, Yoane Wissa was able to notch one home before halftime.
Tom Cairney was brought on at half time and equalized the game in the 68th minute through a quality snapped header. The game winner would come two minutes later through Harry Wilson, who was allowed time to cut in from the flank and curl a beautiful shot to the far post.

Tyler Adams will play on Tuesday in Bournemouth’s next match. Crystal Palace duo Matt Turner and Chris Richards did not play in the Premier League this weekend as their Wembley date with Manchester City resulted in a euphoric 1-0 win to lift the FA Cup.
