English Premier League Recap: Robinson involved in all four goals in Fulham loss

2 minutes, 46 seconds Read

Antonee Robinson was involved in all four goals, for and against Fulham, with a beautiful assist to cap off the performance. Auston Trusty went the distance in the Sheffield United comeback and even had a helping hand in the goal.

Aston Villa 3 – 1 Fulham

Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson went the distance for Fulham, with Robinson involved in a goal for both teams.

The result sees Fulham now 16th, and only one win in the last six matches. The opening goal came from Robinson, unfortunately in his own goal. Tracking his runner to the back post, a quick deflection saw the ball go into his own goal.

James McGinn scored in the 42nd minute, with Ollie Watkins killing the game off in the 64th minute. For the first, Robinson headed the ball clear, but McGinn recovered and smashed a shot from distance past the goalkeeper. On the third goal, Robinson slipped mid-pass to allow a quick counter from Villa.

Robinson turned provider for Raul Jimenez in the 70th minute, but it was too little too late for the visitors. Finding himself furthest up the field, he squared the ball to the Mexican forward for a tap-in.

Up next for Fulham, a visit from Wolves.

Arsenal 3 – 1 Burnley

Luca Koleosho went 80 minutes for Burnley, a result that sees them at the basement of the Premier League.

Leandro Trossard scored in added time in the first half, putting his body on the line for a back post header.  Josh Brownhill provided the needed response in the second half, with a 54th minute goal. Brownhill was quickest to react with a shot from distance deflecting in.

William Saliba had other plans, however, scoring the game-winner just three minutes later. Standing right on top of the goalkeeper, he rose the highest to head home.

Oleksandr Zinchenko added a nail in the coffin in the 74th minute, with a beautiful kung fu kick. Fabio Vieira was sent off in the 83rd minute.

Burnley face West Ham at home on the 25th.

Brighton 1 – 1 Sheffield United

Auston Trusty went the distance for Sheffield United who battled back to draw Brighton and Hove Albion away from home.

Simon Adingra scored in the sixth minute, giving the home side a dream start. Weaving past several players and finding a quick give-and-go, Adingra was able to slot home.

Mahmoud Dahoud was shown a red card in the 69th minute for a stamp. Adam Webster had the unfortunate reality of scoring a 74th-minute own goal to throw away two points. Trust started the move down the left flank, switching across the field for a ball to be rifled across the six-yard box to force an own goal.

Sheffield United, now 19th, face Bournemouth on Saturday the 25th.
