Auston Trusty got the start against Manchester United while Matt Turner was disappointed to not walk away with all three points against Luton Town.
Sheffield United 1 – 2 Manchester United
Auston Trusty was brought into the Sheffield United side which was without a few key players due to injuries. The night was full of emotion as Manchester United, and English football, paid tribute to legend Sir Bobby Charlton who passed away earlier that morning.
Scott McTominay was the goal-scoring hero once again as settled the ball off of his chest, before bobbing his shot to the far post in the 28th minute. The Scotsman quickly turned to zero, however, giving Sheffield United a lifeline just 6 minutes later through an outstretched hand. Oli McBurnie stepped up to convert the ensuing penalty.
Trusty almost gave United a golden goal, turning the ball over to Marcus Rashford deep inside of his own territory. However, the defense did its job. United kept pressing, with chance after chance going just wide or hitting the woodwork. Diego Dalot would not be denied in the 77th minute with a wonder strike of a curler to the upper 90.
Sheffield United stay rooted at the bottom of the Premier League, a position that no team has survived from at this point in the season. Up next for Trusty and co, a visit from Arsenal.

Tottenham 2 – 0 Fulham
Antonee Robinson and Tim Ream went the distance in their dismal loss to in-form Tottenham Hotspur.
Captain Ream would have been furious with his defensive line after giving the ball away on a high press. The turnover caught Ream keeping Hueng-Min Son onside, and a quick turn and curling finish to the top corner in the 35th minute gave Tottenham the lead.
Calvin Ughelumba gave the ball away for the second time, and the quick counter found Son once again on the top of the box. This time, however, Son played the ball to James Maddison who cooly slotted the game-winner home in the 54th minute.
Fulham, now 13th, travel to Brighton for their next game.

Nottingham Forest 2 – 2 Luton Town
Matt Turner will feel frustrated at dropping points against Luton Town as Nottingham Forest concede in added time.
Chris Wood started the scoring in the 48th minute on a sweeping counterattack. Wood doubled the scoring in the 76th minute with a precise back post header.
Chiedozie Ogbene clawed the visitors back into the game in the 83rd minute to give them a lifeline. Second-half substitute Elijah Adebayo scored in the 92nd minute to earn the visitors a point with a fantastic goal. The sub took a long ball cleverly off of his chest, wrestling with a Forest defender, and Turner could only cause a deflection as the equalizer fizzed past him.
Nottingham are in 15th place and are traveling to Liverpool for their next game on Saturday.
