Juventus and U.S. men’s national team midfielder Weston McKennie made his long-awaited return to training with the first team on Thursday as he has fully recovered from injury.

The 23-year-old was sidelined in February after suffering fractures to the second and third metatarsals in his left foot in the team’s Champions League round of 16 game again Villarreal.

“Weston McKennie completed the entire training session with the group,” Juventus said in a statement on their website.

Juventus will end the season with a game against Fiorentina, so it is likely that McKennie could see some action as the team has already secured a top-four place and qualified for next season’s Champion League.
