4 minutes, 20 seconds Read

Christian Pulisic got an assist for Chelsea in a rare start while Antonee Robinson and Tim Ream were made to look silly in Fulham’s disastrous display on the final day in the Championship.

Chelsea 2 – 2 Wolves

Christian Pulisic got his start in the Chelsea attack, notching an assist while going the distance for the Blues, but the home team dropped two points to Wolves.

Pulisic thought he had the opening assist just moments in to the second half as he found Timo Werner, but the shot didn’t end up in the back of the net.

Romelu Lukaku would score the opener through a penalty kick in the 56th minute before being assisted by Pulisic with an well weighted pass in the 58th minute.

Chelsea’s new owner was watching on as the remaining 30 minutes saw an epic collapse from the home side, conceding in the 79th minute through Trincao before a 90+7 minute goal from Conor Coady saw Wolves snatch two points on the road.

Chelsea stay in third place in the Premier League, just a point above Arsenal, and face off with Jesse Marsch on Wednesday at Leeds.

Sheffield United 4 – 0 Fulham

Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson were on hand as Fulham were completely dismantled by Sheffield United.

Fulham were generally at full strength and were given the guard of honor for winning the Championship.

The smiles were short lived as United scored just ten minutes in, a ball from wide right being met with a near post header from Morgan Gibbs-White. Iliman Ndiaye would make it two after 21 minutes, making Fulham look silly in the build up.

Sheffield United, who were in the hunt for a Playoff spot, didn’t wait time making it three to the home team, with Sander Berg scoring in the 25th minute with yet another near post finish.

Enda Stevens wrapped up the scoring in the 49th minute in a near replica of the second goal, making Fulham look amateur level in the build up.

Fulham have now played all of their games this season, and will quickly want to forget this one.

Huddersfield Town 2 – 0 Bristol City

Duane Holmes went the distance for Huddersfield Town as they won against Bristol City, securing third spot and a playoff game against Luton Town.

Bristol City had the early chances, but Harry Troffolo’s solo run beating two Bristol players was the difference in the 33rd minute. Holmes nearly scored a few minutes later but the Bristol goalkeeper was equal to the task.

The score was rounded off in the 44th minute after Holmes got the ball out side. The American drove at the back line, crossing to Danny Ward, and after a sliding shot, the ball ended in the back of the net.

Huddersfield face off against Luton Town Friday the 13th and Monday the 16th in the two legged affair.

The game, while it had its half chances, didn’t see the first goal until the added time at the end of the game. Mighten did get a chance towards the end of the game but it was 20 year old Brennan Johnson who scored a penalty in the 90+2 for what looked to be the winner.

However, Keane Lewis-Potter equalized straight away after missing a chance in regular time.

Nottingham Forest face off against Sheffield United in the post-season promotion playoff race, with the games scheduled on the 14th and 17th.

Sunderland threw one last hopeful ball forward in the third minute of added time and Patrick Roberts came in from the right wing to thump home the tie’s eventual game winner.
