American left-back Antonee Robinson has more to celebrate than securing the EFL Championship and promotion with Fulham, he has just been named to the EFL Championship Team of the Season.
The 24-year-old was one of four Fulham players announced to the team on Monday along with the league’s top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic, Harry Wilson, and Tosin Adarabioyo.
Robinson has had a stellar season for the west London club, making 34 appearances while contributing two goals and four assists, as they have been the runaway leaders in England’s second tier. He’s also helped the team to 14 shutouts during the season.
With three games left in the season for the champions-elect, Robinson will be looking to finish strong before heading back stateside to participate in the initial preparations for the World Cup in Qatar.
