Christian Pulisic will face off against Folarin Balogun in the FA Cup Quarter Final, while Duane Holmes and Ethan Horvath duke it out for a place in next phase.
With the FA Cup 5th round games all but wrapped up, the FA Cup Quarter Final draw has been made.
Still to play is Duane Holmes’ Huddersfield Town versus Ethan Horvath and Nottingham Forest. Both Americans are on the outside looking in at the USMNT, but will plan to start on Monday in the knockout game. The prize is a visit from Premier League power house Liverpool.
Folarin Balogun and Middlesbrough, who have knocked out Manchester United and Tottenham, face off against arguably their toughest opponent yet, Christian Pulisic’s Chelsea. Balogun and Pulisic both played limited roles in the 5th round, but will hope to play significant roles in the Quarter Finals.
Zack Steffen is the last American who may or may not feature, as the goalkeeper is currently out injured. His Manchester City side will go up against Southampton.
