In a must-win game on Sunday afternoon when fierce rivals Standard Liege came to town, Genk did just enough to secure the three points and move up into fifth place, with just one game remaining in the Pro League’s regular season.

Overall it was far from an exciting weekend of Pro League action as far as Americans were concerned, with the highlight being the boys at Westerlo, Bryan Reynolds and Griffin Yow, fighting back to get something out of their road game.
Marlon Fossey and Standard Liege picked up an important, last-minute point on their trip to American-owned Molenbeek, while Mark McKenzie and Genk continued to slump with a narrow home loss.
