English Premier League Recap: Robinson starts in Fulham win

Great news for USMNT fans came out of Fulham as American left back Antonee Robinson started for the Cottagers in an impressive win over Burnley. That, and more, below.

Leeds 0 – 0 Brentford 

Brendan Aaronson went 68 minutes in Leeds goalless draw over Brentford. There weren’t many clear chances in the game, with Aaronson taking one shot from distance before being subbed.

Leeds, now 15th, take on West Ham on the 5th of April in a bottom of the table clash.

Fulham 3 – 1 Burnley

Antonee Robinson started and played 61 minutes for the home side who won convincingly over Burnley.

Burnley drew first blood in the 60th minute through Zian Flemming.

Fulham were back in the game after making two quick substitutions following the goal, one of which was Robinson. Nineteen year old Josh King equalized the match in the 67th minute, and turned provider for Harry Wilson who got the go ahead goal in the 73rd minute.

A second yellow to Josh Laurent allowed Raul Jimenez to score from the spot, ending the scoring.

Fulham sit in ninth place, two points off of 7th placed Brentford. Up next? A trip to Liverpool on Saturday the 11th of April.

Notes:
Tyler Adams was rested for Bournemouth at home against Manchester United. Chris Richards and Crystal Palace had their match against Man City postponed due to the Carabao Cup final.
