Haji Wright was called in for the rescue again for Coventry City as his goal helped them to a win over Millwall in midweek action in the English Championship.

Coventry City maintain their lead atop the standings as Haji Wright scored another game-winning goal for the team over Millwall at the CBS Arena.
Wright started and played 81 minutes for the Sky Blues, winning five duels, making one recovery, and putting two shots on target.
The hosts opened the scoring after 11 minutes when Ephron Mason-Clarke’s cross from the left side was targeted for the American forward. Wright’s headed attempt was parried by Millwall goalkeeper Max Crocombe, but Romain Esse was on the spot to put away the rebound.
The Lions leveled the score before the half-hour mark when Mihailo Ivanovic met Femi Azeez’s cross to deliver a scintillating volley into the back of the net.
It was a tussle for advantage from both sides as they entered the second half. However, Wright came through again when Coventry needed to take the three points with his goal in the 78th minute. Tatsuhiro Sakamoto’s cross from the right side went to Brandon Thomas-Asante, who then laid the ball to Wright for the strike.
The league leaders now have 58 points, six ahead of second-place Middlesbrough.

Around the Championship, Middlesbrough came away with a 2-1 win over Stoke City, with Aidan Morris starting and playing the full 90 for the team.
Patrick Agyemang played 76 minutes for Derby County, while Charlie Kelman came off the bench to play 18 minutes for Charlton Athletic as the Rams came out on top in a 2-1 win.
Josh Sargent has all but played his last game for Norwich City as they decimated West Bromwich Albion in a 5-0 win. George Campbell played the final 10 minutes, while Daryl Dike was an unused substitute.
