English Premier League Weekend Recap: Richards and Palace win while Adams scores against City

Tyler Adams scored against Manchester City while Chris Richards and Palace won against Wolves. Brenden Aaronson also went the distance as all three yanks picked up 90 minutes for their clubs. That, and more, below.

Brighton 3 – 0 Leeds 

Brenden Aaronson went the distance for Leeds United who lost heavily away from home.

Brighton opened the scoring just 11 minutes into the match through Danny Welbeck, while a Diego Gomez brace secured all three points. 

Leeds are sitting in 16th place and take on Nottingham Forest on the 9th of November.

Manchester City 3 – 1 Bournemouth

Tyler Adams got the lone goal for Bournemouth as they fell away from home to Manchester City.

Erling Haaland scored either side of Adams 25th minute goal in the 13th and the 33rd minute. Nathan O’Rielly added the final nail in the coffin in the 60th minute. The American was on hand to tuck away a loose ball from a corner kick, but it wasn’t enough.

Bournemouth sit in fourth place, despite the loss. They take on Aston Villa on the 9th in their next outing.

Crystal Palace 2 – 0 Brentford

Chris Richards started and went the distance as Palace got all three points at home against Brentford.

Jean-Philippe Mateta opened the scoring in the 30th minute and a Brentford own goal from Nathan Collins in the 51st minute put the game to bed.

Palace have now won three games in a row as they sit in ninth place in the Premier League. They play host to AZ Alkmaar on Thursday night before hosting Brighton on Sunday.
