Chris Richards and Tyler Adams started as Antonee Robinson returned to action and picked up minutes against Manchester United. Brenden Aaronson watched as Arsenal put four past his team before he even saw the field. That, and more, in this weekend’s English Premier League recaps, highlights below.
Bournemouth 1 – 0 Wolves
Tyler Adams started and went 88 minutes in Bournemouth’s 1-0 win over Wolves at home.
The game started in fine fashion with Adams causing the turnover due to intense high pressure work from the American, with the ball falling directly to Antoine Semenyo. Semenyo quickly assisted Marcus Tavernier in the fourth minute for the game’s only goal.
Wolves went down a man after a straight red card to Toti Gomez after colliding with Evanilson as the last man back. Adams was on hand to smash home a shot from distance, forcing a good save from Jose Sa. Adams did pick up a yellow card in the 58th minute after tussling with a Wolves player.
Teenager Matai Akinmboni did not suit up for Bournemouth. Up next for Adams and company, a League Cup match against Brentford.

Fulham 1 – 1 Manchester United
Antonee Robinson was a 62nd minute sub for Fulham against Manchester United at home.
Fulham suffered through the first half with Manchester United dominating most of the play, but a badly missed Bruno Fernandes penalty kick saw the momentum shift for the home team. Entering the match in the 62nd minute, Fulham were on the ascendency, despite being 1-0 down due to a Lenny Yoro header logged as an own goal from Rodrigo Muniz.
The equalizing goal came in the 72nd minute from Emile Smith Rowe after an Alex Iwobi cross. Smith Rowe was left unmarked by the Manchester United captain Fernandes and had an uncontested finish past Altay Bayindir.
Robinson will hope to get the starting nod on Wednesday against Bristol City in the League Cup for their next outing.

Arsenal 5 – 0 Leeds United
Brenden Aaronson was a 66th minute substitute for Leeds United who were thrashed by Arsenal.
Before the American had even entered the match, the game was already done and dusted with Arsenal up by four. Goals from Jurrian Timber in the 34th and 56th minute, a Bukayo Saka close range strike at the end of the first half, and a Viktor Gyokeres goal in the 48th minute put the game out of reach before Aaronson could even kick a ball.
Gyokeres was able to add another goal to his tally on the day with a penalty at the death of the match.
Up next for Leeds is a Tuesday match against Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup.
