Chris Richards and Crystal Palace will feel highly prepared for their FA Cup final after easily dispatching Tottenham.
Tottenham 0 – 2 Crystal Palace
Chris Richards started and went the distance for Crystal Palace who completely dominated Tottenham Hotspur ahead of their FA Cup final.
Tottenham are all eyes on their Europa League match against Manchester United and forgot to turn up for the game. Palace had two first half goals disallowed amongst a slew of other chances, but finally broke the deadlock on the stroke of half time with a Eeberichi Eze back post tap in.
Eze doubled his tally with an equally “open” goal, this time from further out. Both goals the front man was generally left unguarded in the oppositions penalty box.
Palace turn around to face Manchester City in the FA Cup Final at Wembley.
Bournemouth 0 – 1 Aston Villa
Tyler Adams was substituted off at half time as Bournemouth tried to get back into the game.
Ollie Watkins scored the game’s lone goal, cementing himself as Aston Villa’s all time goal scorer. Jacob Ramsey was shown his second yellow card for a soft foul around midfield.
Bournemouth now sit in 10th with a Tuesday fixture against Manchester City.
Notes
Antonee Robinson was rested against Everton in a 3-1 home win.
