Josh Sargent led the way for the Yanks in England, scoring and captaining his side.
Brighton 2 – 1 Fulham
Antonee Robinson went the distance for Fulham as Brighton snatched a last gasp winner over the visitors.
Raul Jiminez scored a brilliant opening goal in the 35th minute but Jean Paul van Hecke got the home side back in with a great header. The game was back and forth but Jaoa Pedro was taken down in the box in the final moments of the match and scored the ensuing penalty.
Fulham are sitting in 10th place, and take on Spurs next weekend.
Spurs 2 – 2 Bournemouth
Tyler Adams and Bournemouth will feel hard done by after dropping two points on the road to Spurs.
Marcus Tavernier opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, and Evanilson doubled the scoreline. Pape Sarr got the home side back into the match in the 67th minute, and Hueng-Min Son scored the game tying penalty six minutes to full time.
Bournemouth are now in eighth and welcome Brentford next weekend.
Crystal Palace 1 – 0 Ipswich
Chris Richards picked up a yellow card in the pursuit of three Premier League points at home over Ipswich. Matt Turner watched the game from the bench.
Ismaila Sarr got the games lone goal in the 82nd minute. While the score line was narrow, Palace had plenty of chances throughout the match.
Palace are in 11th place in the Premier League, and have off until March 29th in the FA Cup.
Portsmouth 1 – 0 Leeds United
Brenden Aaronson started for Leeds United and was subbed off in the 68th minute in their narrow loss to Portsmouth.
Colby Bishop scored the game winner in the 61st minute, which forced Leeds into the substitutions.
Leeds stay in first place in the Championship, but are tied with Sheffield United. Up next is a Wednesday matchup against Millwall.
Swansea 1 – 0 Middlesbrough
Aidan Morris started and went the distance for Middlesbrough in a narrow road defeat to Swansea.
Ji-Sung Eom got the lone goal in the 26th minute. Boro are in ninth place, five points adrift from the Playoff spot they want. Up next is a home fixture against QPR in midweek.
Norwich 1 – 1 Oxford United
Josh Sargent was on the score sheet again for Norwich City but it wasn’t enough for all three home points.
The American scored just five minutes into the match while Mark Harris returned fire in the 18th minute. Sargents goal was a classic center forwards finish, staying in the box and tapping in a good cross.
Norwich, now 10th place, welcome Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.
Sunderland 2 – 1 Cardiff City
Ethan Horvath continued as the Cardiff number 1, narrowly losing to fourth placed Sunderland.
Eliezar Mayenda opened the scoring in the second minute after Cardiff tried to play out from the back. A bad turn over lead to a good finish from the Sunderland man. Isaak Davies was on hand to dispatch the equalizer after a goalkeeper drop.
The match was won after a well worked free kick was tapped in past a helpless Horvath. The loss sees Cardiff in 21st position, and welcome Luton to town on Tuesday.
In League One, Jeremy Kelly has been dropped from the squad for Crawley (23rd place), while Donovan Pines faces the same fate for Barnsley. Nick Akoto hasn’t featured for Burton Albion since January, while Charlie Kelman played 45 minutes and scored the lone goal in Leyton Orient’s 2-1 loss to Northampton.

Coventry 3 – 2 Stoke City saw Haji Wright play the final 24 minutes for Coventry, while Lynden Gooch did not make the bench for Stoke city. Duane Holmes has not played in the last six matches for Preston North End while Daryl Dike played the last 12 minutes for West Bromwich Albion.
