United States men’s national team head coach Gregg Berhalter announced his 23-man roster for the CONCACAF Nations League on Wednesday as they will attempt to win their third consecutive title.

The team will face Jamaica in the semifinals of the competition on March 21 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The Americans will enter the game with several players in excellent form at club level, namely Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and Josh Sargent. Along with Sargent’s return to the team after fully recovery from injury is Tyler Adams. The captain makes his return to the team after spending a long spell out of action due to hamstring issues. Now, fully recovered, the big question will be whether he plays any role in the game.

At the goalkeeper position, Berhalter will only have Matt Turner, Ethan Horvath, and Drake Callender at his disposal. The defenders see the usual call-ups. In the midfield, it will be interesting to see who teams up with McKennie. Gio Reyna, who has been called in despite seeing little action with Nottingham Forest during his loan spell, could get a start.

Up top, there could be a battle to see who starts at center-forward with the in-form Sargent looking to overtake Folarin Balogun and Ricardo Pepi.

“The objective ahead of us is clear. We want to compete for our third Nations League title and continue to challenge ourselves to succeed in knockout round matches,” Berhalter said following the announcement of his roster. “This is a group of players with a lot of experience in these types of matches and we look forward to the opportunity.”

Should the U.S. advance they will face either Mexico or Panama in the final.
