English Premier League Recap: Richards starts for Palace while Ream wins with Fulham.

Chris Richards started for Crystal Palace while Tim Ream captained Fulham to a win. Antonee Robinson was left off the team sheet due to an injury sustained during USMNT camp. Read all about it, and watch the highlights below.

Crystal Palace 1 – 3 Aston Villa

Chris Richards was handed his Premier League debut of the season for Crystal Palace due to a squad injury. The center back was forced into action late in the second half, mis-iming his header to allow Villa in to score. Thankfully for Richards, it was called offside after a VAR review.

Emmy Martinez had a howler just 90 seconds into the second half as Odsonne Edouard was on hand to dispatch a finish after a sublime Jean-Phillippe Mateta assist. Second half sub Jhon Duran got Villa level just before the death in the 87th minute. Douglas Luiz dispatched a penalty kick in the eighth minute of added time with Leon Bailey scoring in the 11th minute of added time to seal the three points for Villa.

Richards will hope to retain his spot as Fulham come to visit on Saturday.

Fulham 1 – 0 Luton Town

Tim Ream captained the team to a solid Premier League win over Luton Town, but Antonee Robinson was not included in the squad.

The goal came from a goalkeeper error for Luton Town, with Carlos Vinicius being on hand to dispatch a simple tap in goal with the keeper on the ground. Vinicius came on in the 62nd minute and scored just three minutes later.

Ream and company travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Tyler Adams is still on the injured list for Bournemouth who held Chelesa to a 0-0 draw. Auston Trusty got the final minutes as Sheffield United blew a 1-0 win to lose 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur. Matt Turner and Nottingham Forest take on Burnley on Monday.
