Photo Essay: USMNT Edges Out El Salvador

After the USMNT played Bosnia & Herzegovina last December, Yanks Abroad ran a photo essay by Matt Mathai, a freelance photographer from Santa Fe, New Mexico, who is often trolling the sidelines when the USA plays around the country.  The comments and feedback from YA readers were so positive that Matt has agreed to continue featuring his photos on Yanks Abroad for your viewing pleasure.

As we’re sure you know by now, the USA came away with a 1-0 victory over visiting El Salvador and Matt was there.  Here are a series of his high-quality professional photographs of the USA in action.
