Everton 2 – 0 Norwich City
Norwich City forward Josh Sargent started and went the distance in their away loss to Everton.
Sargent had a few chances in the game, but nothing concrete enough to beat Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
The opening goal came from veteran player Andros Townswend through a 29th minute penalty kick. Norwich kept it close, however the lead was doubled through Abdoulaye Doucoure in the 77th minute.
Sargent will hope to continue to start up top as the Canaries try to right the ship when they travel to Burnley next Saturday.
Bristol City 1 – 1 Fulham
Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson were back on the field to help Fulham secure a vital away point in their conquest to regain promotion to the Premier League. The draw puts them in fourth place in the Championship.
